Dua for acceptance and submission
After any act of worship, asking Allah to accept it.
Rabbana taqabbal minna, innaka antas-samee'ul-'aleem. Rabbana waj'alna muslimayni laka wa min dhurriyyatina ummatan muslimatan laka wa arina manasikana wa tub 'alayna, innaka antat-tawwabur-raheem.
Our Lord, accept this from us; surely You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Our Lord, make the two of us surrender to You, and make of our offspring a people surrendered to You. Show us our rites and turn to us in mercy; surely You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful.
Qur’an 2:127-128
A father and son raising the walls of the Ka'bah together, stone by stone. Even while performing this sacred act, they feared their efforts might not be accepted. Humility before Allah, even in worship.
