Dua for family, provision, and devotion
When worried about your family's well-being and provision.
Rabbana inni askantu min dhurriyyati biwaadin ghayri dhi zar'in 'inda baytikal-muharram. Rabbana liyuqeemus-salah, faj'al af'idatan minan-nasi tahwi ilayhim warzuqhum minath-thamarati la'allahum yashkuroon.
Our Lord, I have settled part of my family in a valley where nothing grows, beside Your Sacred House, our Lord, so that they may keep up prayer. So make people's hearts warm to them, and give them fruits to live on, so that they may be thankful.
Qur’an 14:37
Ibrahim left his wife Hajar and infant Isma'il in the barren desert of Makkah, trusting only in Allah. This dua is a father's ultimate act of faith, entrusting his family to the One who never forgets.
