Dua for gratitude
After receiving a blessing or good news.
Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'mataka allati an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala walidayya wa an a'mala salihan tardahu wa adkhilni birahmatika fi 'ibadikas-salihin.
My Lord, move me to give thanks for the blessing You have given me and my parents, and to act rightly in a way that pleases You; and let me enter, by Your mercy, among Your righteous servants.
Qur’an 27:19
Sulayman, a king with dominion over wind, jinn, and beasts, smiled at a humble ant's words and immediately turned to Allah. True power, he knew, lies in gratitude, not in kingship.
