Dua for refuge from speaking without knowledge
After realizing you spoke or asked from a place of incomplete knowledge.
Qala rabbi inni a'oodhu bika an as'alaka ma laysa li bihi 'ilm, wa illa taghfir li wa tarhamni akun minal-khasireen.
He said, 'My Lord, I seek Your protection from asking You for anything I know nothing about; and unless You forgive me and show me mercy, I will be among the losers.'

After Nuh asked Allah about his son, Allah corrected him. Immediately, Nuh sought refuge from overstepping his knowledge. A model of humility when we are corrected by truth.
