Dua for times of hardship
During illness, loss, or any prolonged hardship.
Wa Ayyuba idh nada rabbahu anni massaniyad-durru wa anta arhamur-rahimeen.
And Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: 'Harm has come to me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.'
Qur’an 21:83
Ayyub lost his health, his wealth, and his children, yet he did not complain. After years of patience, he turned to Allah with the gentlest of words, never accusing, only acknowledging his need.
