Dua for the need of mercy
Daily as a general plea for Allah's mercy.
Wa qul Rabbi-ghfir warham, wa anta khayrur-rahimeen.
And say, 'My Lord, pardon and be merciful; and You are the best of all the merciful.'
Qur’an 23:118
Short yet encompassing, this dua asks for the two things every soul needs most: forgiveness for what has passed and mercy for what lies ahead. The Prophet was instructed to make this a constant refrain.
