Dua for righteous children
When longing for righteous descendants.
Rabbi la tadharni fardan wa anta khayrul-waritheen.
My Lord, do not leave me on my own, and You are the best of inheritors.
Qur’an 21:89
Zakariyya was old and his wife was barren, yet he never stopped asking. He did not ask out of desperation, but out of trust, knowing that even if Allah chose not to give him a child, Allah's plan would still be best.
