Dua for increase in knowledge
Before studying, learning, or seeking understanding.
Wa qul Rabbi zidni 'ilma.
And say, 'My Lord, increase my knowledge.'
Qur’an 20:114
Of all the things Allah could have commanded His Messenger to ask for more of, He chose knowledge. The shortest yet perhaps most far-reaching supplication in the Qur'an.
